I booked a room for the wrong days by accident for almost $3k and when I asked the hotel to help me out and allow me to change the dates, they refused. They’d prefer to take my money than accommodate for a simple mistake on my end.

**A Five-Star Price With Anything But Five-Star Service** My family had two rooms at Hôtel Martinez from August 5–16, and unfortunately our stay was one disappointment after another. At check-in, concierge confirmed four sunbeds for us at the Beach Club. The next day there was no reservation, and beach staff told us “sometimes concierge does not do their job.” We were then promised first-row beds for the following day, only to be given fourth-row beds because “very important” guests, including a “prince,” had arrived and were given priority. This became a recurring theme: certain guests clearly received preferential treatment. Communication throughout the hotel was terrible. I recently stayed at Hotel Martinez for seven nights, and I can honestly say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We stayed in a beautiful room with a partial sea view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is outstanding, offering easy access to the beach, restaurants, and everything Cannes has to offer. The amenities were fantastic, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the concierge service. The team was incredibly helpful and assisted us in securing reservations at most of the restaurants we wanted to visit, which made a huge difference during a very busy season. I am not one to leave reviews but I felt the need to considering my experience. It has been two weeks since I left this hotel and have called them 4 times because my pre authorization/deposit was never returned and each time I speak to someone they agree it was never returned and there was an error and yet the deposit is never returned to my account. They said they had a system change in the middle of my stay which is why everything is so confusing to them. I can understand a mistake and me asking to have it corrected but having the same conversation four times and the last time the hotel front desk hung up on me. It is simple math and is very frustrating to spend so much time to get my deposit back which is owed to me.

Extremely disappointing and nowhere near five-star service. Zero hospitality, painfully slow service and a concierge team that is unhelpful and lacks any sense of urgency. The beach experience was miserable, Reception was equally frustrating, with staff unable to correctly distinguish the first and last name from the passport provided. The level of service is simply unacceptable. One of our worst luxury hotel experiences in Cannes.

Cela fait plusieurs années je viens sur cette plage c’est vraiment magnifique le personnel super. Par rapport à d’autres plages voisines si vous prenait pas un transat c’est mort même si vous mangez ou boire un verre interdit d’accéder douche ou mer. Le Martinez sont vraiment respectueux est tre aimable 👍👍
